Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager with daily bakery café operations.
- Lead, coach, and motivate team members to provide outstanding customer service.
- Supervise shifts and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Train and onboard new employees while maintaining company standards.
- Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Manage inventory, place orders, and minimize product waste.
- Assist with scheduling, labor management, and payroll support.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
- Open and close the bakery according to company procedures.
- Support sales growth through excellent service and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Restaurant, café, bakery, or retail management experience preferred but not needed.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain if required).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
