Lime Inn is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the daily operations of our award-winning, family-owned restaurant on beautiful St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands.

The General Manager will oversee all front-of-house operations while working closely with ownership to strengthen systems, grow our beverage program, improve staff development, and help guide the continued growth of the business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the floor, mentoring a team, and continuously improving restaurant operations.

Duties
- Lead daily front-of-house restaurant operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences.
- Hire, train, coach, and develop front-of-house team members.
- Maintain high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and service execution.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings and provide ongoing staff education and coaching.
- Oversee scheduling, staffing, and payroll communication.
- Manage and grow the restaurant's beverage program, including inventory, ordering, quality, and staff training.
- Maintain operational systems, including POS updates, opening and closing procedures, cleaning schedules, and organizational documentation.
- Monitor guest feedback and online reviews while proactively resolving guest concerns.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and health regulations.
- Coordinate routine equipment maintenance and facility readiness.
- Work collaboratively with ownership to improve operations, increase beverage sales, strengthen team culture, and identify business growth opportunities.
- Foster a positive, accountable workplace that supports employee development and long-term success.
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of restaurant or hospitality management experience
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and daily restaurant operations
- Comfortable using POS systems, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), and restaurant management software
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Must be authorized to work in the United States or be eligible to obtain authorization
Preferred
- Beverage program, bar management, or wine and cocktail experience
- Experience increasing beverage sales and controlling beverage costs
- Familiarity with When I Work, Slack, and Google Workspace
- Intermediate Spanish language skills
- Basic troubleshooting skills for restaurant technology, including POS systems, internet, iPads, and printers
- Experience overseeing basic facility maintenance and coordinating repairs
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
