Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Interventionist for the 2026–2027 school year in South Burlington, VT. This full-time role focuses on supporting students with behavioral and social-emotional needs in a school-based setting. The Behavior Interventionist will work closely with teachers, special education staff, and behavior specialists to implement individualized behavior support strategies that promote student success.
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Hourly pay rate: $28-$30/hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Key Responsibilities:

Implement behavior support plans under the direction of teachers and behavior specialists
- Provide one-on-one and small group behavioral and academic support
- Assist students in developing self-regulation, communication, and social skills
- Collect and document behavior data accurately and consistently
- Support classroom management and positive behavior interventions
- Collaborate with school staff and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or related field preferred
- Experience working with children, especially in behavioral or special education settings preferred
- Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
