What You’ll Do
As a Truck Driver, you will play a key role in supporting daily project operations. Responsibilities include:
- Performing thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Hauling aggregate materials (gravel, sand, crushed stone) safely and efficiently
- Operating trucks in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and operational vehicle
- Completing required logs, checklists, and documentation
- Communicating effectively with supervisors and project personnel
- Following designated haul routes and site traffic control plans
- Assisting with additional tasks to support field operations
- Upholding all MSHA, OSHA, and company safety standards
- Using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Valid, unexpired Class A CDL
- Valid, unexpired DOT Medical Card
- Clean driving record
- Strong understanding of safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
- Willingness to travel based on project needs
- Reliable and team-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience hauling aggregate materials
- Construction or heavy civil experience
- MSHA Part 48 & 46 Surface certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Double/Triple trailer endorsement
- Experience working around heavy equipment
Work Environment
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, etc.)
- Extended periods of driving and equipment operation
- Frequent interaction with active construction zones and heavy equipment
- Compliance with strict safety standards and procedures
