OSI Plastics, a division of Ohio Steel Industries, has an immediate need for a full-time Production Supervisor on our night shift, which currently runs from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, Monday through Thursday.

What You'll Do
Under the guidance of the Operations and Production Managers, you will lead your team and ensure we meet all safety, quality, and efficiency goals. As a working supervisor, you will also perform many of the same tasks as the Operators and Laborers that report to you. Specific functions include:
- Directly supervise assigned team
- Maintain production schedule
- Monitor production and quality throughout the shift and adjust as needed
- Collaborate with management and/or maintenance to diagnose and resolve safety, quality, or production issues
The schedule is currently 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, Monday through Thursday. This is subject to change with organizational needs, and may include Fridays.
What We're Looking For
We want to hear from you if you have:
- Strong knowledge of extrusion operations, plastics preferred, as typically acquired by 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Proven leadership skills as a shift lead or supervisor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual in Spanish a plus
- Computer literate in basic Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Able and willing to change your schedule to cover for other supervisors as needed and/or work new shifts as the business continues to grow
In addition, this position requires heavy work to include lifting up to 50 lbs., standing/walking for extended periods, bending, reaching, grasping objects, and ability to see distance, up close, and in color. There will be exposure to heat, noise, and dust.
