- Active state massage therapy license (or license-eligible)
- Strong client care and communication skills
- Willingness to learn — and eventually teach
- Sales experience a plus
Details:
- $30/hour + 100% tips + 50% add on commission split
- Full-time or part-time available
- Evenings and Saturday evenings required.
Duties
- Provide customized massage therapy sessions utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or aromatherapy massage to meet client needs.
- Conduct thorough consultations to understand client health history, preferences, and specific areas requiring attention.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Educate clients on post-massage care and recommend appropriate self-care practices for ongoing wellness.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided, client feedback, and progress notes to ensure personalized care.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and practice productivity.
- Uphold professional licensing standards by adhering to state regulations and continuing education requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid state license as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice legally.
- Proven experience delivering professional massage therapy with excellent client service skills.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques to customize treatments effectively.
- Strong communication skills to listen attentively and provide clear guidance or recommendations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all client interactions.
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed to accommodate client schedules.
