Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Sales and Customer Service Specialist to join our team, heavy part time or full time. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth through outside sales efforts, managing customer relationships, and providing exceptional service across various channels. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, possess retail jewelry experience and a comprehensive understanding of retail sales, inventory management and marketing strategies. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute outside sales strategies to expand the customer base and increase revenue, assisting with custom designs.
- Engage with clients through in-person visits, phone calls, and digital communication to promote products and services
- Manage inventory control processes to ensure product availability aligns with sales demands
- Provide exemplary customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships
- Conduct public speaking engagements and presentations to showcase products or services at events or meetings
- Maintain accurate data entry records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns that attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Utilize bilingual or multilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse client populations
- Oversee front desk responsibilities including greeting visitors, handling inquiries, and supporting administrative tasks
- Apply retail math principles for pricing, discounts, and profit calculations while managing retail sales transactions
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette during outbound and inbound calls to enhance customer engagement
- Support maintenance of the sales environment by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and proper product displays
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or sales management roles
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent public speaking abilities
- Proficiency in inventory management and inventory control systems
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Administrative experience including data entry, record keeping, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic marketing tools
- Knowledge in using social media applications and software
- Knowledge of retail math concepts for pricing strategies and profit analysis
- Effective phone etiquette for professional client interactions
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks related to the sales environment as needed
