Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Recall/Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and electro-mechanical components across manufacturing and operational equipment. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of complex electrical assemblies and systems. Duties
- Perform detailed electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting on a variety of equipment, utilizing tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and oscilloscopes to identify root causes of failures.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, including wiring, schematics reading, schematic updates, and schematic creation using CAD software like AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, or SolidWorks.
- Assemble, install, and modify electrical components and electro-mechanical assemblies following engineering schematics and blueprints while adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Utilize scripting languages such as Python or other automation tools to develop troubleshooting routines or improve system diagnostics.
- Support project scheduling activities by coordinating maintenance tasks with production schedules to minimize downtime.
- Perform PCB (Printed Circuit Board) inspection, soldering, surface mount technology (SMT) assembly, and repair to ensure circuit integrity.
- Assist in the development of electrical schematics, blueprints, and layouts for new equipment or upgrades using CAD software like Revit or MicroStation.
- Troubleshoot electrical wiring issues in complex systems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electro-mechanical components, and automation equipment.
- Apply mechanical knowledge when working with integrated mechanical-electrical systems to facilitate comprehensive troubleshooting and repairs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all repair activities, schematics updates, root cause analyses, and maintenance logs for compliance and continuous improvement purposes.
Experience
- Proven experience in electrical engineering troubleshooting within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting using hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, soldering irons (including surface mount technology), and multimeters.
- Strong background in electrical wiring installation, schematic reading, blueprint interpretation, and electrical blueprint reading.
- Familiarity with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation or SolidWorks for designing or modifying electrical layouts.
- Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for safe wiring practices and compliance.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), automation systems, electro-mechanical components, and control panels.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis using structured problem-solving techniques to identify underlying issues efficiently.
- Experience with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), equipment troubleshooting in manufacturing settings is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical aptitude combined with electrical expertise to troubleshoot integrated systems effectively.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
