Job Overview
A jewelry company in New York City is looking for a young, energetic host to do live shows on Whatnot. You’ll be joining a young, energetic team backed by strong leadership that is deeply invested in the future of live commerce and sees Whatnot as a major part of the next generation of retail. This is a great opportunity to join a brand new, fast-growing team from the ground-up, with major upside potential on all live streaming platforms.
We are looking to build a long-term team of talented hosts who can grow with the business, develop their own audience, and play a major role in shaping our live-selling operation.
What You'll Do
Showcase and sell jewelry and accessories in an authentic and engaging way
Interact with viewers, build relationships, and create a strong community
Host engaging, entertaining, and high-energy live shows on Whatnot
Promote our Whatnot channel and individual shows on various social media platforms (We are open-minded and flexible on this)
Work closely with our team to plan shows, products, promotions, and special events
Learn about the product you’re showcasing while naturally discovering best practices in verbally and visually presenting product
Who We're Looking For
Passionate about fashion, jewelry, accessories, entertainment, or social media
Outgoing and comfortable being on camera
Naturally engaging and able to connect with an audience
Comfortable thinking on your feet and interacting with viewers in real time
Previous live-streaming, Whatnot, TikTok, Instagram, sales, or hosting experience is a plus, but not required
Most importantly, we're looking for someone with the personality, ambition, and drive to become a great live host
