We are looking for friendly, organized, and professional team members to join our restaurant in a dual-role position: Host / Bar
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy both guest interaction and behind-the-scenes team support in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Position Overview
This is a cross-trained position where team members rotate between Host and Barback responsibilities throughout the week.
Host
You are the first and last impression of the restaurant. Responsibilities include:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating rotation
- Seat guests efficiently while maintaining proper table rotation
- Answer phone calls for reservations and guest inquiries
- Communicate accurate wait times
- Coordinate with servers and management to ensure smooth table flow
Bar
You support the service team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and grab drink orders for servers based on printed tickets
- Restock liquor, beer, wine, glassware, ice, and bar supplies
- Keep the bar and service areas clean and organized
- Help maintain overall speed and quality of service
Qualifications
- Prior hosting or restaurant experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stay calm and organized in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs
