We're a privately owned, family-run dental group opening a new pediatric and orthodontic arm across our Monmouth Junction/South Brunswick (South Brunswick) and Robbinsville (Mercer Smiles) offices, and we're looking for a skilled Registered Dental Assistant to help us build it. Our mission is simple: to improve lives through dentistry — not just for our patients, but for every member of our team. We're looking for someone comfortable with modern technology who wants to grow with a busy, well-established practice and be part of something new from the ground up.
What you'll do:
- Assist chairside during general and orthodontic procedures
- Take and manage digital records (intraoral scanning, digital photography, digital radiographs)
- Assist with ortho procedures such as bonding, banding, wire changes, and appliance placement
- Prep and break down operatories, sterilize instruments, manage inventory
- Help patients and families feel comfortable and informed throughout treatment
What we're looking for:
- Current NJ Registered Dental Assistant certification (X-ray/radiology certification required)
- Comfort with intraoral scanners and a fully digital, paperless workflow
- Orthodontic experience a plus — but we're happy to train the right person
- Pediatric experience a strong plus
- Willingness to travel between our South Brunswick and Robbinsville locations
- Strong chairside manner, especially with kids and nervous patients
- Reliable, organized team player who takes initiative
What we offer:
- Competitive pay: $26–$34/hour based on experience
- 401(k)
- Health insurance
- No evenings and no weekends — real work/life balance
- Full-time schedule
- A modern, fully digital practice environment
- Hands-on orthodontic training provided
- Opportunity to grow with an expanding practice and new ortho program
- A supportive, family-owned team that invests in your growth
Our mission: We believe great dentistry changes lives — and that starts with the people who deliver it. As a privately owned, family-run practice, we're committed to improving the lives of our patients and our team members alike. If that resonates with you, we'd love to hear from you.
