Stocker/Cashier – Gaff’s Quality Meat & Specialty Foods

Gaff’s Quality Meat & Specialty Foods is a family-owned and operated specialty meat market serving our community since 1947. We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking Stocker/Cashier to join our DeLand team.
This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys staying busy, working with customers, and has a passion for food. Our store can be fast-paced, so we’re looking for someone who can work well both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing friendly, helpful customer service
- Operating the cash register and accurately handling transactions
- Stocking and organizing grocery and specialty food products
- Keeping shelves, displays, and work areas clean and organized
- Checking inventory and helping keep products properly stocked
- Assisting customers in finding products
- Helping with general store duties as needed
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Able to be on your feet throughout the workday
- Able to lift and move products as needed
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers
- A passion for food is a must!
- Retail, grocery, stocking, or cashier experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person
