Overview

Duties
- Assist with site preparation, material handling, and general labor tasks to facilitate smooth construction operations
- Support the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including safety barriers and equipment placement
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction schedules to assist project teams in executing plans accurately
- Operate basic tools and equipment safely, including ohmmeters for electrical testing when required
- Collaborate with supervisors and management to ensure adherence to OSHA safety regulations and construction safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the worksite, ensuring compliance with federal construction safety regulations
- Support crew management activities by coordinating tasks under supervision and assisting in supervising team members when needed
Skills
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, technical drawings, and construction documentation
- Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, or similar tools
- Experience with construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and assist in construction drawing review processes
- Knowledge of project scheduling, construction management practices, and managing teams in a construction environment
- Skilled in supervising or managing teams within a construction management role, ensuring quality control and schedule coordination
- Proficiency in using construction management software for project tracking and reporting
- Excellent communication skills for effective managerial coordination and crew supervision
- Hands-on experience with heavy machinery operation or electrical testing tools like ohmmeters is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work safely on complex projects while adhering to all relevant federal and local regulations
