House of Granite is a family owned and operated business proudly serving San Joaquin County with a wide selection of premium natural stone (granite, marble, quartzite, soapstone, dolomite) and man-made stone such as quartz. At our boutique slab yard in Manteca, our client’s hand-select their perfect stone for their kitchens, bathrooms, and remodeling projects. Our mission is to bring nature’s beauty into people’s homes in a simple and enjoyable way. We are committed to educating our clients on the different stone types while supporting their unique design styles and goals. We are searching for an ambitious, motivated and engaging Sales & Design Consultant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with homeowners, designers, and contractors to truly be the support they need. But also, someone who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by guiding clients through the slab selection process
- Build strong connections with our homeowners, designers, and contractors.
- Provide design guidance while respecting customer preferences
- Educate customers on material selections (natural stone vs. quartz), including durability and maintenance considerations
- Create quotes based on cabinet dimensions or drawings (training provided)
- Manage communications (calls, texts, emails) related to active and new projects
- Schedule clients appointments and coordinate deliveries
- Place material orders with distributors
- Assist in maintaining our social media presence
- Help maintain a clean and welcoming showroom and yard
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (bilingual a plus)
- Previous sales or customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Strong organizational skills, dependable work ethic, and a willingness to learn
- Collaborative team player with a solutions-focused mindset
- Interest in design, construction, or home remodeling is a bonus
- Must be able to work weekends as needed

Pay
· $20.00 hourly plus Commision (Est. $30-$45 with commisions)
· Commission on material sales 3%-1% varying based on material
Schedule
· Flexible 20-30 hours a week
Hours of Operation
· Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
· Saturday 9:30am - 1:00pm
· Sunday - Closed
