Aquaterra Grille is a full-service restaurant and event venue in Pearl River, NY. We are looking for a polished, dependable, and professional Host/Hostess to join our front-of-house team.
This position is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a friendly personality, and the ability to stay organized in a busy restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally as they arrive.
- Manage reservations and seating using our reservation system.
- Answer phone calls and assist guests with basic questions.
- Communicate clearly with servers, managers, and kitchen staff.
- Help maintain an organized front entrance and host stand.
- Assist with private event guest arrivals when needed.
- Provide a positive first impression for all guests.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable speaking with guests in person and over the phone.
- Ability to stay calm and organized during busy shifts.
- Must be available nights and weekends.
- Long-term availability preferred.
