Randall L. Sansom CPA, PA, a mid-size tax & accounting firm located in Gulf Breeze, FL, provides tax, accounting, financial statement and business advisory services to closely held businesses and high net worth individuals. We are currently seeking a dedicated team player with 3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience to lead tax engagements for a diverse roster of clients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, businesses, non-profits, trusts and estates
- Lead engagements throughout all phases of tax and accounting including research, projections, planning, compliance, consulting and financial statement preparation
- Supervise and train tax staff and evaluate their work
- Prepare correspondence for submission to the IRS and other tax authorities
- Build new and existing client relationships while demonstrating knowledge of client business
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting
- 3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience progressing in scope and responsibilities including significant supervisory experience
- CPA certification preferred, but not required
- Experience preparing individual, business, non-profit, trust and estate tax returns
- Knowledge of Federal and state income tax laws with the ability to remain abreast of tax regulations and trends
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical and PC skills including Microsoft Office, QuickBooks and tax software proficiency (CCH Axcess or ProSystem fx software proficiency is a plus)
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively with clients and all levels of staff and develop strong client relationships
