Job Title: In Home Caregiver
Summary: Shannondell at Valley Forge is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and reliable in-home caregiver to provide personalized care and assistance to residents in their homes. Key Responsibilities:

Provide companionship and engage in meaningful interactions with residents.

Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.

Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary restrictions and preferences are followed.

Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, tidying, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.

Assist with medication reminders and monitor residents’ health conditions, reporting any changes to the appropriate medical staff or family members.

Provide transportation or accompany residents to appointments, errands, or recreational activities, as needed.

Follow individualized care plans and maintain accurate records of services provided.

Uphold residents’ dignity, privacy, and independence while fostering a warm and respectful relationship.
Qualifications:

Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Ability to lift and assist residents with mobility.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
