Position Summary
The Production Sous Chef will support weekly meal production in our commercial kitchen, helping ensure consistent quality, efficient operations, and adherence to food safety standards. This is a hands-on role focused on batch cooking, preparation, packaging, and supporting the Executive Chef during production.
Qualifications
- Previous Sous Chef, Production Chef, Catering, or Commissary Kitchen experience is a plus
- Experience with high-volume batch production preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Schedule
PRN / As Needed
Typical production shifts are weekday mornings.
Hours will vary based on production needs, with opportunities for additional hours as the company grows.
Compensation
$28–35/hour, depending on experience.
