Duties
- Act as the primary point of contact for patients, answering questions and providing detailed explanations of treatment options and financial arrangements
- Coordinate appointment scheduling to optimize patient flow and minimize wait times
- Assist patients with understanding their treatment plans, insurance coverage, and payment options to promote transparency and comfort
- Prepare and manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times
- Support the dental team by handling administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and follow-up communications
- Maintain a clean, organized front office environment that reflects professionalism and warmth
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure all patient needs are met efficiently and effectively
Experience
- Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care enhances communication with patients and staff
- Proven ability to provide excellent medical administrative support in a fast-paced environment
- Office experience demonstrating proficiency with scheduling software, electronic health records, or practice management systems
- Familiarity with dental office procedures and patient care workflows is a distinct advantage
