Manufacturing Team Lead
2nd Shift (3:30PM-2AM M-Th with OT on Fri as assigned)
Lead by example in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
Engineering Services & Products Company (ESAPCO) is seeking a Manufacturing Team Lead to oversee daily production while working alongside the team to meet safety, quality, and production goals. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing professional who enjoys leading others while remaining actively involved on the production floor.
This is a working leadership role, meaning you'll spend time coaching employees, coordinating workflow, solving production issues, and assisting with hands-on manufacturing operations as needed.
What You'll Do
- Lead and support production employees to achieve daily production goals.
- Communicate daily production schedules and priorities.
- Assign work and adjust staffing based on production demands.
- Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Troubleshoot production issues and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Coach, train, and mentor team members.
- Maintain continuous production flow throughout assigned areas.
- Lead 5S initiatives and maintain organized, efficient work areas.
- Conduct safety, quality, and standard work audits.
- Participate in daily production meetings.
- Collaborate with supervisors and managers to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Record material movement and production activity in Epicor ERP.
- Operate and set up manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform minor equipment maintenance as needed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the department.

Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Manufacturing experience
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality
Preferred
- 2+ years of manufacturing leadership or lead experience
- Experience in fabrication, welding, or metal manufacturing
- Experience with Epicor or other ERP systems
- Lean Manufacturing and 5S experience

Physical Requirements
