Private, independent, medical practice in Redwood City is looking to hire a qualified, energetic medical assistant for a part time position. Since this is a part time job, we are looking for someone local, closer to us in proximity. We are looking to hire an applicant who is interested in joining a professional environment and be part of a team working to provide the highest quality of care for our patients, detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills. We are looking for qualifications such as: multi-tasking, strong time management, detail oriented, organizational/prioritization skills, computer experience, and passion about providing the best possible care to patients. We are a practice with broad range medical services, and are looking for a medical assistant with clinical and administrative skills. Medical Assistant degree/education is required.
Duties are but not limited to:
Rooming patient
Intake vitals
Administering Injections
Execution of physician orders
Performing ECG
Obtain patients medical history
Complete workup
Ordering medical supplies
Sterilization of instruments
Keeping clean and well stocked exam rooms
Knowledge of ordering prescriptions
Communicate with home health agencies
Monitor lab results of on treatment patients
Evaluate patients, side effects of treatment
Communicate patients necessities to a doctor
Uploading records/documents to patients' charts
Keeping workstations organized and clean
