Position Summary
The Driver/Warehouse Associate is responsible for the safe, timely delivery of products and providing outstanding customer service. This role also supports warehouse operations, including pulling inventory, loading trucks accurately, and assisting with general tasks as directed by management. Drivers must maintain a clean driving record and follow all Company and DMV safety practices and regulations. When not on delivery routes, this position performs warehouse duties as part of a team to meet business objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Must be 21 years or older to meet company insurance requirements.
- Operate company vehicles to deliver products safely and on schedule.
- Ensure product integrity during loading, transport, and delivery.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Follow all DMV regulations and company safety policies.
- Adhere to delivery schedules; Flexible and able to work with management as routes and delivery instructions may change.
- Work independently on routes and collaboratively in the warehouse.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers and team members.
- Effective interpersonal skills. Communicate clearly and resolve issues without conflict.
- Inspect and maintain vehicles daily; report maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist with warehouse tasks, including loading/unloading, inventory handling, and general operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
- Regular standing, walking, talking, and hearing; occasional sitting.
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting (up to 90 lbs. occasionally, 35–50 lbs. frequently).
- Occasional climbing of ladders and truck beds.
- Ability to push carts or pallet jacks with loads of 200–400 lbs.
- Lift up to 60 lbs., push/pull up to 50 lbs., and move loads up to 260 lbs. with a dolly.
- Work in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
