Overview
Vertical Rentals is seeking a high-performing and results-driven Equipment Rental Sales Representative with a book of business to join our team. This role is pivotal in expanding our customer base and strengthening relationships with existing clients through effective business development and sales strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a background in Equipment Rental sales, and experience with technology sales platforms such as Salesforce. As an Equipment Rental Sales Rep, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by promoting our equipment rental solutions to various industries, including construction, event management, and industrial sectors. We are seeking a rep who is currently billing at least $150,000 per month in rental revenue. Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities through warm calling and outreach to prospective clients
- Manage and grow existing accounts by providing exceptional account management and customer service
- Conduct negotiations to close rental agreements that meet client needs while achieving company goals
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns for equipment promotion
- Utilize Salesforce and other technology tools to track sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress
- Present product demonstrations and technical sales pitches tailored to client requirements
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify new opportunities for business development
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our equipment offerings and industry standards to effectively communicate value propositions
- Lead efforts in building long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Experience
- Proven experience in Rental Sales, preferably 3 years + with equipment rental
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Demonstrated success in business development and account management roles
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for managing sales pipelines and customer data
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and sales metrics for strategic planning
- Experience in marketing strategies related to product promotion is a plus
- Leadership qualities that enable guiding clients through complex decision-making processes
- Prior experience with warm calling techniques to generate leads and build rapport with prospects
Pay: $100,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
