Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments of students referred for speech and language services
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct therapy to students
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP team meetings and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents
- Provide consultation and education to classroom staff regarding strategies and accommodations
- Stay current on best practices and emerging trends in speech-language pathology for school-aged children
