Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Payroll Administrator to join our team. Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing using systems such as Isolved to ensuring timely and accurate payments for all employees.
- Perform data entry and maintain payroll records with precision, including hours worked, salary adjustments, and tax information.
- Reconcile payroll accounts regularly, ensuring consistency across general ledger accounting and financial software like QuickBooks.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate accounting teams as needed to process accounts payable and receivable related to payroll expenses.
- Conduct account reconciliations and prepare journal entries related to payroll transactions while maintaining thorough documentation.
- Stay updated on tax regulations and ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local laws; prepare necessary reports for governmental agencies.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing payroll using platforms such as Isolved and other platforms; familiarity with HRIS systems is essential.
- Strong understanding of payroll management principles combined with knowledge of accounting software like QuickBooks or similar financial tools.
- Ability to perform detailed data entry and account reconciliation accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of benefits administration processes and non-profit or governmental accounting is a plus.
- Familiarity with technical accounting concepts such as double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Excellent analysis skills to interpret financial data effectively while maintaining compliance with tax regulations.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in handling sensitive employee information and payroll records.
