Job Summary
Moving Forward Therapy Services is seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our growing team in Lakeland FL. Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, the SLPA will provide therapy services to patients with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities
· Implement speech therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
· Assist patients with articulation, language development, fluency, voice, and cognitive-communication exercises
· Accurately document therapy sessions and patient progress
· Support patient and caregiver education as directed
· Maintain therapy materials and ensure a safe, organized treatment environment
· Communicate effectively with the supervising therapist and care team
Qualifications
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited SLPA program
· Active Florida SLPA license in good standing
· Current CPR/BLS certification
· Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
