Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including material handling and site cleanup
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, pouring, and finishing
- Support carpentry activities including framing, trim carpentry, formwork construction, and metal stud framing
- Perform rebar installation, concrete forming, and concrete pumping to ensure structural integrity
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans to follow specifications accurately
- Conduct masonry work, stucco application, roofing support, and restoration tasks as needed
- Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations and ensure a safe environment for all team members
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and blueprint specification interpretation is advantageous
- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques, scaffolding setup, and heavy equipment operation enhances your effectiveness on site
- Skills in concrete finishing, tile laying, flooring installation, plastering, caulking, and roofing are highly valued
- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and perform concrete cutting or concrete pouring tasks confidently
- Understanding of construction safety regulations and ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols at all times
