Job Title: Sushi Chef– Pacific Table Southlake - New Restaurant Opening

Position Summary:
Award winning chef & restaurateur Felipe Armenta and MasterChef Graham Elliot are looking to add to their talented kitchen team.
FAR Out Hospitality Group is growing by adding another Pacific Table restaurant to their current roster of restaurants including the Award winning French Bistro- Le Margot, F1 Smokehouse, Tavern, Towne Grill, Maria’s Mexican Kitchen, and Press Cafe.
All motivated Sushi Chefs that would like to join an award-winning group should apply and become part of our culinary family.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare our dishes from scratch following the recipe to produce consistent results.
- Know and comply with standard cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen practices.
- Cook a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
- Portion all the products, follow the recipes, and always ensure the plate presentation is aesthetically pleasing.
- Follow safety and sanitation standards, make sure your workstation stays clean and organized, and follow all of the food handling standards.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of sushi preparation
- A passion for creating unique, high-quality dishes with attention to detail
- Ability to effectively lead a team of cooks and other kitchen staff
- Understanding of culinary and food presentation techniques
- 4 years’ experience as a sushi chef
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Excellent management, organization and communication skills
- Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
