Due to growth, Core X Crown an immediate opportunity on 2nd SHIFT for Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Clerk/ Customer Service Representative at our Crown Point, IN. location.
- 2nd Shift - 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 pm overtime as needed.
Starting wage- $23.00 per hour plus monthly attendance bonuses.
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining inventory levels. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Running the day-to-day office task (making appointments, answering phones, email communication etc.)
- Ensures accurate inbound and outbound paperwork is ready for warehouse team in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Audits inbound and outbound loads to ensure data records are accurate.
- Ensuring the proper items and quantities are entered for the warehouse to ensure product traceability
- Creating BOLs.
- Filling out POD’s.
- Check in and out truck drivers.
- Assigning trucks to appropriate dock doors.
- Any other clerical work that needs to be done.
- Serve as the point of contact for internal and external communications.
- Communicate discrepancies and shortages to our customers.
Skills
- Associate’s degree in Management, Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communications skills both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- 3+ years of warehouse management system experience preferred
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of order fulfillment processes within a warehouse setting.
- Experience with warehouse management systems is preferred.
- Skills in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment are essential.
- Strong attention to detail is required for success in this role.
