Position Objective- Operations Manager: The primary role of the Operations Manager – Commercial Division is to assist the General Manager in daily and weekly responsibilities. The Operations Manager will be in charge of various projects and asked to execute them in accordance with approved plans and customer expectations. Responsibilities of the Operations Manager –
Commercial Division:
- Be a leader and maintain the ability to inspire others. Develop and maintain strong positive relationships with client based upon clear and frequent communication, mutual trust, and the ability to meet the customer’s needs.
Responsible for preparation, planning and participation in offsite meetings while maintaining a high level of professionalism while representing the company. Clear internal and client communication regarding issues found during each inspection is critical to our success.
- Maintain and apply an efficient level of organizational skills to all aspects of the general shop and office operations.
- Contributes new ideas on a regular basis to improve the office, yard, deliveries, and customer experience. We can always improve in all areas of our business.
- Collaborates with retail sites and other LLS entities working to always ensure company and customer success
- Will assist in coordinating daily and weekly general commercial operations:
o Inspect the trucks when they come in at the end of the day, this review is not only for cleanliness but to make sure proper inventory is on the trucks and also to review the overall condition of the truck in preparation for the next day’s operation.
o Review the weekly maintenance books for the trucks and tractors.
o Will be responsible for placing equipment and supply orders and ensuring their accuracy and timely delivery. o Proactively manage projects through frequent inspection and identifying issues before the client brings to our attention. Source, interview, train, and manage the staff. Monitor their activity daily at the commercial site and in the field.
o Communicate adjustments in the schedule as needed to maintain maximum efficiency while ensuring we are providing a quality product.
o Assist and oversee that general site and office maintenance from cleaning, to rest room cleaning, to taking out the garbage is completed daily and provide a schedule for cleaning assignments as necessary.
o Maintain a list of needed supplies and or inventory with sufficient notice to management so they can be provided prior to interruption of production.
- Adheres to strict confidentiality of company production procedures and financial figures, including our cost, profit margins and gross sales. Violation of this policy is subject to immediate termination.
- Solves problems to the best of your ability as they arise. There are not many emergencies in this business so many situations need to be dealt with reasonably until they can be discussed with management and a permanent solution can established. Most important, if you’re not sure, ask and never be afraid to tell the customer you don’t know but will find the answer for them.
While some exceptions will certainly apply, this is expected to be a 50 hour/week position. Most weeks will be Monday-Friday.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
