We are seeking a Federal Specialized Sales Engineer to be a subject matter expert for Power Systems.
What will you do in this position?
Sales Enablement:
- Collaborate with Strategic Account Executives, Territory Account Executives, and Schneider field offices in developing a strategy for growing Power Systems business across the federal space.
- Assist in the creation of technical proposals and responding to RFPs/RFIs.
- Stay informed of new Schneider product releases, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Serve as the go-to expert for Strategic Account Executives on Power Systems products, services, and solutions.
Customer Engagement:
- Participate in customer meetings, industry events, and site visits, representing Schneider Electric's Power Systems business.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their unique needs and challenges.
- Develop customized solutions that meet specific customer requirements.
- Provide virtual or in-person training on Power Systems both internally and externally.
Internal Collaboration:
- Establish, maintain, and leverage relationships within the Power Systems Business Unit to support the global strategic account managers and federal account executives to drive "One Schneider" solution selling.
- Share customer feedback and insights to drive product development and improvement.
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies and go-to-market plans for the federal market.
This job might be for you if you are a U.S. citizen, and:
Technical Expertise:
- Deep understanding of Schneider Electric's Power Systems or Square D line.
- Experience with low voltage and medium voltage solutions.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., cybersecurity, safety).
Customer-Facing Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to tailor technical information to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to build relationships and trust with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Experience working with federal government agencies or customers a plus.
Sales Support Experience:
- Track record of collaborating with sales teams to drive revenue growth.
- Understanding of the federal government procurement process and sales cycle.
- Ability to identify customer needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Additional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
- Industry certifications (e.g., ISA, CISSP) are a plus.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events.
