Grigonis Excavation Contractors is a growing excavation and site prep company based in Austin, TX. We specialize in trenching, grading, demolition, and utility installation. We run a professional operation with high standards and are looking for a leader who takes pride in their work and holds their crew to the same standard.
THE ROLE
This is a hands-on working foreman position. You will operate equipment daily while leading and managing a field crew. You are responsible for production, quality, site safety, and daily communication with ownership. This is not a supervisory-only role — you are on the tools every day.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate excavator, skid steer, dozer, and other equipment as needed
- Lead and direct field crew to meet daily production targets
- Conduct morning site walks to identify utilities and hazards before work begins
- Ensure job site is clean, organized, and staged properly at end of every day
- Submit a daily report to ownership every evening without exception
- Communicate material needs, site conditions, and any issues proactively
- Enforce safety standards and company SOPs at all times
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 10 years construction experience
- Minimum 5 years in a foreman or crew lead role
- Class A CDL
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Proof of Texas residency
- Must live within 25 miles of Austin, TX
- Ability to pass background check
