Posting Description
TECHNICAL ASSOCIATE I, GABRIELI LAB, McGovern Institute for Brain Research, will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of research studies that involve both children and adult participants, including neurodiverse individuals with diagnoses of autism, dyslexia, and/or ADHD. This role primarily involves participant outreach and scheduling, administering standardized behavioral assessments to measure language and cognition, coordination of testing scores and reports, operation of fMRI scanner (required training will be provided), support for data analysis, and technical support for lab personnel as needed.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (e.g., neuroscience, psychology, education, or related discipline) and a minimum of two years of experience; highly organized, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment; strong judgment and sensitivity when working with children and families, including handling confidential information; excellent written and verbal communication skills; and proficiency in MATLAB or other programming languages, and familiarity with research, database, and analysis tools. PREFERRED: Research experience; experience working with clinical or educational populations (e.g., autism, ADHD, dyslexia).
Availability on weekends (9am–5pm) and some afternoons/evenings (3–7pm) required.
