Store Manager
We are looking for an experienced and dependable Store Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our taqueria. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is organized, responsible, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
The Store Manager will be responsible for supervising employees, maintaining food quality and customer service standards, managing inventory, ensuring cleanliness and food safety, and helping the restaurant operate efficiently.
Responsibilities
● Manage, train, schedule, and support team members.
● Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service.
● Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
● Ensure food is prepared according to recipes, quality standards, and proper serving procedures.
● Monitor food preparation and ensure food is cooked and stored at safe temperatures.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant environment.
● Ensure employees follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
● Manage cash handling, register procedures, opening and closing duties, and daily sales reporting.
● Monitor food and supply inventory and place orders as needed.
● Help control food waste, labor costs, and operating expenses.
● Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure orders are accurate and served on time.
● Lead by example and assist with cashier, cooking, food preparation, or other restaurant duties when needed.
Qualifications
● Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience preferred.
● Strong leadership and communication skills.
● Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
● Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
● Dependable, punctual, and professional.
● Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
● Comfortable handling cash and managing employees.
● Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends when needed.
● Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
