RN Clinical Reviewer
Looking to transition from bedside nursing into a corporate healthcare role? We are seeking an experienced RN Clinical Reviewer for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a respected healthcare organization in Jericho, NY. This RN Clinical Reviewer position is 100% onsite, offering a Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends.
The ideal RN Clinical Reviewer will bring strong acute care experience and an eye for detail to support clinical auditing, compliance, utilization review, and appeals management in a fast-paced office environment.
Position Details:
- Job Title: RN Clinical Reviewer
- Location: Jericho, NY 11753
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Start Date: ASAP (1–2 weeks pending clearance)
- Temp Pay: $56/hour
- Permanent Salary: $80,000–$90,000 annually + benefits
Requirements:
- BSN or graduate of an approved RN program
- Active New York RN license
- At least 2 years of acute care nursing experience (medical/surgical or critical care preferred) and/or 1–3 years of acute care utilization review experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Review high volumes of clinical charts and manage appeals
- Process level-one denial decisions
- Complete electronic documentation with accuracy
- Serve as a clinical resource by mentoring staff and supporting team initiatives
