Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Part-Time Insurance Producer in the Houston area for a flexible, hybrid role (90% remote, 10% in-office). You will identify client risks and sell a full suite of products, including Auto, Home, Commercial, Life, Flood, and Pet insurance. This position offers a competitive hourly base rate plus commission, with weekly hours that scale up from 10 to 25 based on your production.

Compensation & Lead Support
- Base Hourly Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Commission Outlook: A consistent, mid-level part-time producer can realistically expect $10,000 to $25,000+ in commission alone during their first year.
- Lead Support: The agency provides a steady stream of inbound marketing leads, cross-sell opportunities, and a win-back database. You will supplement these with your own organic networking and prospecting.
Work-Location Expectations
- Remote Work: Approximately 90% of your week is spent working from your home office.
- In-Office Commitment: Roughly 10% of your time is on-site, requiring a 2-hour strategy meeting once every two weeks at our Houston office, plus a brief initial orientation.
Key Responsibilities
- Work a blend of agency-provided leads and self-generated opportunities to bind new business.
- Quote and design customized insurance portfolios spanning multiple lines of coverage.
- Cross-sell additional policies to existing clients and conduct annual coverage reviews.
- Document all pipeline interactions accurately within the agency management system.
- Maintain consistent policy binding activity to secure and sustain up to 25 working hours per week.
Qualifications & Requirements
- License: Active Texas Property & Casualty (P&C) license required; Life & Health is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of successful quota-carrying experience in an insurance agency.
- Location: Must reside in the Greater Houston area for bi-weekly in-office meetings.
- Workspace: A quiet home office with high-speed internet and a highly secure, reliable desktop or laptop.
- Skills: Self-motivated mindset with strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
