We are currently seeking a full-time Construction Leader/Inspector to work as a construction leader/inspector of roadway, bridge and miscellaneous transportation and municipal projects with occasional duties in the office as a designer for transportation and municipal projects. This person must have completed a BS in Civil Engineering and be on the path to licensure, if not already a licensed Wisconsin Professional Engineer. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction inspection of bridges, roadways and municipal projects and the ability to assist with the design of transportation and/or municipal infrastructure projects, outside of the construction season. Project experience should include the construction of new highway roadways, reconditioning of existing highways, intersections and roundabouts, construction staging, erosion control and storm water management as it is related to highways, bridge approaches, right of way, and construction. A proven proficiency with agency and utility coordination and the ability to work with the public is a must.
Required Experience
BS in Civil Engineering
5 year minimum experience of transportation project construction inspection in Wisconsin
Experience in transportation and/or municipal infrastructure design
Experience and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred
Plan, report and specification production experience preferred
Ability to work any and all shifts and/or locations as assigned
Desire to produce a quality product, detail-oriented
