Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee construction projects and manage on-site operations of instalation of Water/Wastewater equipment. This is a hands on job that will require physical labor along with managing crew. Must be mechanicaly inclined. Must be willing to travel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and be adept at ensuring quality control while adhering to project timelines and specifications. Good communication skills and customer relations. As a Supervisor, you will lead a team of workers, coordinate tasks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and safely.
- Interpret and implement project schematics, plans, and specifications.
- Must have mechanical skills
- Must be able to travel.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain effective communication with team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders regarding project progress and issues.
- Train and mentor team members in best practices for construction techniques and safety protocols.
- Manage resources effectively to meet project deadlines while minimizing waste.
Skills
- Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings related to construction projects.
- Experience with construction management software and reports.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and contract management.
- Knowledge of quality control measures within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as an ohmmeter is a plus.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure project specifications are met.
