Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Houseperson to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and elevators using appropriate cleaning techniques and chemical agents while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines.
- Handle janitorial supplies and chemical agents safely, ensuring proper storage and disposal in compliance with safety protocols.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture, supplies, or equipment to support housekeeping operations.
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to uphold cleanliness standards across all hotel areas.
- Support hotel housekeeping management by restocking supplies in public spaces and assisting with guest requests promptly.
- Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure safety for guests and staff during any incident or evacuation.
- Conduct manual handling tasks with care to prevent injury while performing custodial duties efficiently.
Experience
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a hospitality or industrial cleaning environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices is advantageous.
- Experience handling chemical agents safely and knowledge of safety data sheets (SDS) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely.
- Strong understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols.
- Prior experience in hospitality settings or hotel housekeeping roles will help you excel in this position.

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
