Job Overview
A Construction Project Manager to lead all phases of construction projects—from inception to close-out—ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. With a strong background in hotel construction projects. Oversee project scoping, scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor management, often handling complex, high-value projects while managing risks and client relations. Key qualifications include a construction-related degree, extensive experience (10+ years), proficiency in software like Procore, and strong leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage project scope, timeline, and budget effectively
- Lead the project team in developing and maintaining the project master schedule
- Utilize project management software to track progress and communicate with stakeholders
- Lead project meetings and present project updates to clients and team members
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate project risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Utilize Content Management Systems for project documentation
- Demonstrate ability to be dependable, consistent, diligent, and thorough in day-to-day tasks
- Oversee all phases from design and preconstruction to final close-out and warranty periods.
- Analyze and resolve complex construction process problems and issues and effectively communicate while interfacing with all levels of personnel
- Ability to follow instructions and pre-establish guidelines to perform the functions of the job
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Performs work tasks by receiving direction and then working independently with an interest in quickly learning and applying new skills and abilities

Experience
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is typically required.
- Proven experience in project management
- Proven experience managing hotel construction projects (required)
- Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and risk management abilities.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling and contract management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in using Project Management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Familiarity with LEED or sustainable building practices
- 10+ years role in project management
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Advanced proficiency with Bluebeam Revu for document review, markups, takeoffs, and collaboration.
- Experience using Primavera P6 for project scheduling, resource planning, and schedule management.
- Proficient in Procore for project management, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, document control, daily logs, meeting minutes, punch lists, and project reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare, review, track, and manage Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring timely responses and coordination among owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Ability to read, interpret, and manage construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
- Prepare, submit, track, and manage Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and change orders while coordinating timely responses with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure all project correspondence is properly recorded and distributed.
- Coordinate with the project team to proactively resolve design conflicts, field issues, and constructability concerns.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
