Position Overview
The Team Report Technician is a full-time position, scheduled Monday through Friday each week with required weekend and holiday rotation, primarily responsible for processing remote patient transmissions on our software platform in a timely manner. They may be assigned their own clinic(s), as well as helping to cover other clinics and technicians that need additional support. Other duties include assisting with new clinic onboarding, portal schedules, red alert processing, reporting projects, assisting in training new staff, and audits.
Responsibilities:
- Process a minimum of approximately 300 reports per day, with the exact amount to be determined in partnership with the Director of Reporting
- All reports must be processed within 12 hours using clinic designated guidelines, all must meet a minimum of 98% alert accuracy and an 85% compliance rating to meet Vector Remote Care’s technician performance requirements
- Process all RED alerts by 11am, clinic local time, daily
- Confirm patient schedules for timely reporting
- Respond to and follow up on comments from clinic(s)
- Complete urgent report requests during scheduled coverage times
- Participate in weekly meetings
- Manage multiple clinic portals
- Assist internal Support Team as needed
- Assist with onboarding of new clinics, as needed
- Work with the Reporting Manager to support coverage for all clinics in the event of another technician’s absence or on a weekend.
- Assisting with daily/weekly reporting support tasks, as needed
Ideal Candidate
You are an experienced device nurse or technician knowledgeable about cardiology clinics, CIEDs, and remote monitoring. You are detail oriented and self-motivated, you are a team player, and most importantly you are passionate about helping provide improved care to cardiac patients around the country.
Qualifications
- More than 5 years total in the device industry or cardiology clinic
- Remote monitoring experience & experience with all manufacturer portals
- CCT certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Current IBHRE certification required
- Computer literacy required, knowledge of Google Workspace preferred
- Understanding of heart rhythms
- Responsible for and knowledgeable of HIPAA requirements
