Summary
As a Caregiver/Companion at Philly Phil's Friends, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals by providing companionship and assistance with daily activities. This position is essential for fostering a nurturing environment that promotes well-being and independence.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including driving or accompanying on Access Link or Uber/Lyft, shopping, and meal preparation and cleanup.
- Monitor and document patient observations to ensure their well-being.
- Administer first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Experience in working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required.
- Strong observational skills to assess client needs effectively.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is essential.
- Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills.
