We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Lifeguard to join our team with Rick Hoffman in Jackson, NJ. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety and well-being of all guests by monitoring swimming areas, enforcing safety rules, and responding promptly to emergencies.
- Monitor swimming areas to ensure the safety of all patrons.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including performing rescues and administering first aid or CPR as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe pool environment by conducting regular inspections and reporting hazards.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the pool area.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
- Attend all required training sessions and maintain current lifeguard certifications.
- Current lifeguard certification (e.g., American Red Cross, YMCA) required.
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred.
- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous lifeguard experience is a plus but not required.
This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and standing for extended periods. Lifeguards must be prepared to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
