Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Kudzu Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Pastry Baker to fill an opening with a growing bakery in Savannah, GA. We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about baking and takes pride in producing fresh, high-quality pastries and baked goods.
The ideal candidate should have previous baking experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining consistent quality and presentation. Requirements of the Pastry Baker
- Minimum 1 year of baking or pastry production experience required
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation
- Ability to accurately measure and weigh ingredients
- Basic math skills for recipes, measurements, and scaling
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Manual dexterity for decorating, shaping, and handling baked goods
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Customer service mindset and professional attitude
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Food safety or ServSafe certification is a plus

Responsibilities of the Pastry Baker
- Prepare and bake fresh scones, pastries, and other baked goods daily
- Follow recipes to ensure consistent taste, texture, and presentation
- Measure and weigh ingredients accurately
- Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with inventory and ingredient preparation as needed
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
- Maintain high standards of product quality and presentation
