Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will help us produce high-quality structures and parts, ensuring they meet project specifications and industry codes. Duties
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements.
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) welding techniques according to AWS (American Welding Society) standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
- Read and utilize calipers, micrometers, and shop math to ensure precise measurements and tolerances during fabrication.
- Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks on construction sites or within the shop.
- Fabricate ductwork, sheet metal parts, piping, and other mechanical components following ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) codes & standards.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings for mechanical fabrication projects involving pipe threading, assembly, and metal fabrication processes.
Experience
- Proven construction site experience with hands-on fabrication or welding projects.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MIG, TIG, FCAW, and SMAW welding techniques in accordance with AWS standards.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, shop math, and mechanical blueprint interpretation.
- Experience operating fabrication machinery such as plasma cutters, press brakes, and machining tools.
- Knowledge of rigging procedures, pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, and assembly processes in a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Ability to work safely with power tools and hand tools while adhering to safety protocols.
- Prior experience working with ASME codes & standards is a plus for ensuring compliance on complex projects.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
