Shop Assistant — Embroidery & Printing (Entry-Level)
Join our friendly, creative team at All-Sports Apparel in Old Greenwich, CT. We are hiring a reliable entry-level shop assistant to support our custom embroidery and print operations. This position is perfect for someone eager to learn technical skills, develop an eye for detail, and participate in an energetic small-business environment. No experience necessary — we will provide training on equipment, processes, and quality standards.
What you will do day-to-day:
- Assist with setting up embroidery machines and basic print presses, including thread changes and machine prep.
- Get garments ready for production: hooping, trimming, pressing, and positioning garments to ensure accurate decoration.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to confirm stitching, color, and placement meet our standards.
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and stocked with supplies; follow simple maintenance routines.
- Help package completed orders, label items, and prepare shipments for customers or local pickup.
