Job Summary
CPNW does property managment for apartments and houses in the broader Seattle area. Our office is based in Burien, WA and we are looking to hire one part time and one full time property manager to support our book of business.
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of commercial and residential properties. In this role, you will ensure the smooth functioning of facilities, coordinate maintenance activities, and foster positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and staff. Your leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and tenant satisfaction, creating a welcoming environment that reflects excellence in property management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your management skills and technical knowledge to a vibrant property portfolio. As the business grows there will also be plentiful opportunity for additional training, on site experience, language skills and technical knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations of assigned properties, including maintenance, safety, and tenant relations
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities, ensuring timely repairs and preventative upkeep using tools like Appfolio, Google Sheets, outlook, Gmail and excel
- Oversee facilities management tasks such as work orders for painting, small capital projects, plumbing, electrical, trash outs and pest control
- Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors, providing leadership and ensuring adherence to safety standards, communication in Spanish and English
- Oversee City inspections, lender and insurance inspections and maintenance site walks providing adequate notice and access
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify issues
- Prepare reports on property conditions, maintenance schedules, and project progress while managing budgets effectively
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
Skills
- Strong management and supervisory experience in facilities or industrial maintenance settings
- Spanish speaker/bilingual highly preferred
- Proficiency with online tracking, updates, emails and written communication
- Financial tracking and owner reports
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently
- Leadership qualities that motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
- Fluency in English with clear communication skills for interacting with team members, vendors, and tenants (in English and in Spanish)
