We are looking for Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join
an innovative technology company developing a next-generation Web3 social platform. The platform is
designed to empower digital communities by enabling users to connect, share ideas, collaborate, and build
meaningful relationships in a transparent, community-driven environment. By combining blockchain
technology with an intuitive user experience, the platform aims to redefine online engagement, creator
empowerment, and trust for the next generation of social applications. As the company enters its next stage
of growth, the CTO will be responsible for defining the long-term technology strategy, leading engineering
teams, and building a scalable, secure, and high-performing platform. This opportunity is ideal for an
experienced technology leader who enjoys building products from the ground up, scaling engineering
organizations, and driving innovation across consumer-facing technology platforms. The ideal candidate
brings 10+ years of overall professional experience, including leadership experience managing engineering
organizations and delivering large-scale software products. Previous exposure to blockchain, Web3, or
digital asset technologies is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
Define and execute the company's long-term technology vision and engineering strategy
Lead architecture decisions for a scalable social platform supporting millions of users
Build, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering teams across backend, frontend, mobile,
infrastructure, AI, DevOps, and blockchain functions
Establish engineering standards, development processes, and technical best practices
Drive platform scalability, security, reliability, and performance
Partner closely with executive leadership to align technology investments with business objectives
and product strategy
Guide technical decisions related to identity, user-generated content, community features,
messaging, digital assets, and decentralized technologies
Evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and Web3 innovations to strengthen the platform
Foster a collaborative engineering culture focused on innovation, quality, and continuous
improvement
Represent the technology organization with partners, investors, and executive stakeholders when
required
Requirements
10+ years of overall professional experience in software engineering and technology leadership
Previous experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, Head of Engineering, Engineering Director, or
similar executive role
Proven experience building and scaling large consumer-facing software platforms or SaaS products
Strong knowledge of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, platform architecture, security, and
modern engineering practices
Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering organizations
Strong understanding of product development, Agile methodologies, and engineering operations
Previous experience with blockchain, Web3 technologies, decentralized applications, digital identity,
or digital assets is preferred
Experience with social platforms, creator platforms, online communities, marketplaces, or consumer
internet products is highly desirable
Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Strategic mindset with excellent decision-making and organizational leadership abilities
