Line Worker
This role operates in a fast-paced production manufacturing environment, focusing on the safe and efficient production of plastic parts. You will monitor machinery, keep parts organized, accurately track order information, and perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet established standards. The position involves frequent use of measuring tools, manual handling of materials, and coordination with team members to keep production lines running smoothly.
Responsibilities

Monitor and oversee the production of plastic parts on extrusion and related manufacturing lines.

Legibly write and record information to track order details and production activities.

Pull part tickets as needed for current and completed production runs.

Watch machinery during operation to identify issues, maintain consistent output, and ensure safe functioning.

Keep parts organized throughout the production process, including staging, stacking, and palletizing finished goods.

Stack and palletize parts in an orderly manner for storage and shipment.

Use rulers, tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools to verify part dimensions and ensure accuracy.

Lift materials and products up to 50 pounds unassisted multiple times per shift.

Walk up and down stairs, including climbing three stairs to load hoppers as part of the extrusion process.

Perform hourly or as-needed quality checks on parts, documenting results and notifying appropriate personnel of any issues.

Carry out general production line duties including assembly, packaging, cleaning, inspection, and line set up.

Operate or assist with machine operation on extrusion and fabrication lines, following all safety and operational procedures.

Use hand and power tools as required for assembly, fabrication, and general production tasks.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to overall plant cleanliness.

Work independently or as part of a team while staying on task to meet production goals.

Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of required personal protective equipment and adherence to safe lifting practices.

Support warehouse packing and parts staging activities as needed.

Perform general labor tasks related to production, extrusion, assembly line work, and quality control.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waterville, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
