Position Overview
We are seeking a professional, safety-conscious Class A CDL Driver to handle hot shot loads and trailer transport. The ideal candidate has experience with diverse trailer types and a proven record of safe driving. This is a local position only—no over-the-road (OTR) travel required.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A vehicles and equipment for hot shot and trailer loads
- Transport boats, campers, cars, and other trailers throughout Florida
- Inspect vehicles/trailers before and after trips; maintain proper logs and paperwork
- Properly secure loads and ensure compliance with DOT and state regulations
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Maintain professionalism and customer service on every job
Requirements
- Valid Florida Class A CDL (Required)
- Clean driving record — no points
- Proven experience with hot shot loads and towing diverse trailer types
- Ability to safely operate trucks, trailers, and related equipment
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday (occasional weekends as needed)
- Day runs; home nightly
